Thank you for using Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist's services. We would like you to please read all our terms and conditions so that you are fully aware of our rights when booking your makeup service. Using this website (www.sarahrachaelmakeup.com.) and booking with us signifies that you agree to our terms and conditions.

SUMMARY AND INTERPRETATION

AGREEMENT between Sarah Rachael Makeup and "Customer":

“Accommodation Expenses” means accommodation costs incurred by an Artist in relation to a Booking due to a long commute and an early start time.

“Additional Costs” means any costs required for the provision of the Artist Services for a particular booking, including but not limited to:

  1. (a)  Travel Expenses;

  2. (b)  Early Fees;

  3. (c)  Parking Expenses; and

  4. (d)  Accommodation Expenses.

“Artist” means a makeup artist and/or hair stylist from our network of freelance artists that we act as agent for;

“Artist Services” means the makeup, hair and other beauty services provided by the Artists;

“Booking” means a booking for an Artist to provide you with particular Artist Services secured by payment of a Deposit.

“Customer” means the person or legal entity listed on the purchase invoice and includes anyone acting on their behalf;

“Deposit” means a non-refundable, non-transferable payment reflecting a percentage of the total Service Quote amount for a Booking Enquiry (as determined by us) that is payable in order to secure a Booking;

“Deposit Invoice” means the tax invoice in respect of the Deposit amount;
“Early Fee” means costs that may be applied by an Artist due to an early appointment time;

“Fees” means the fees associated with a Booking as stipulated by us including any Additional Fees;

“Final Booking Details” means all details relevant to your Booking including the Booking destination, Booking date, Booking time and the Artist Services to be provided. 

“Final Invoice” means the tax invoice in respect of the outstanding Fees associated with a Booking (the total Fees reduced by any Deposit paid);

“Parking Expenses” means costs for the Artist parking at the Booking destination on the Booking Date.

“Travel Expenses” means costs associated with an Artist travelling to Booking destination/s. These expenses may vary and are subject to the particular Artist’s terms and conditions. If the Artist is required to fly to the Booking destination appropriate flight, transfer, allowance and other opportunity costs will be outlined in your Quote;

“Trial” means an appointment with the Artist prior to the Booking Date to try and discuss the look and style prior to the Booking Date.

PRIVACY POLICY

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM CUSTOMERS - In order to provide better service to our valued customers, Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist may request personal details such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address. If you choose to withhold requested personal information, Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist may not be able to provide you with the customer service you require should that depend on the collection of that information, particularly if the collection of that information is required by law.

 

Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist will not sell or disclose the Customers personal information/details to any third party without the customers consent unless in the purpose of purchase/deposit/delivery or if necessary to comply with laws, investigations or legal proceedings.

For transaction security for debit and credit card payments, Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist uses 'Square'.

 

PROPERTY

All content made available to the customer via the Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist Website is property of Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist.

The customer can view, download, copy and/or print the images accessible on the Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist Website for personal use only and may NOT be altered in anyway.

The customer is not permitted to alter or re-produce the images on the Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist Website in any manner without permission from Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist.

The customer may NOT remove any trademarks made by Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist on any images, campaigns or marketing materials.

COVID-19

If you need to cancel due to COVID related reasons, a credit note will be created on your behalf to use on future services &/or products for a 6-month period from the date of cancellation. To receive a full refund, you must show proof of a positive COVID result from the Australian Government. 

DEPOSIT PAYMENTS

A Deposit payment for any service with Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist is required and is non-refundable or transferable if cancelled less than 48hrs prior to booking date if booking at Sarah Rachael studio. Weddings deposits are non-refundable or transferable less than 8 weeks prior to date of wedding. Mobile services require a 50% deposit and is non refundable if cancelled less than 8 weeks prior. Deposit is required when any makeup booking is requested for it to be confirmed and secured. Without payment made, we cannot promise that your requested date or time will remain available. ​

TRIALS

For an additional fee, you may request a trial appointment with the artist to discuss and try the desired look before your big day. If you would like a trial, you will receive a deposit invoice to secure your booking with the artist. Balance payment is made directly to the artist on the day via direct debit or cash.​

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist accepts Cash, Mastercard, Visa and Direct Debit. (Square terminal facilities Available)

All prices are in Australian dollars. Invoices are sent to your desired email address once booking is confirmed and can be paid online.

Please note there is a 1% service charge on any card payment on the day of application through the Square terminal.

BOOKING CHANGES

After a booking is secured and deposit is paid, any requests to alter your booking requires notice. I will do my best to make these changes for you however it is subject to the availability and scope of work on that day. I will make effort to accommodate as best I can.

Please Note: I am not obligated to service beyond agreement when a booking is made, including timings on the day. You are paying per face not per hour. If you cause a delay to the booking agreed, you acknowledge this may compromise the delivery of service.


CANCELLATIONS

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable (unless impacted by COVID19 and outside the 4 weeks for wedding bookings and 48hrs for special occasion bookings. If related to COVID, a. credit note will be created on your behalf to use for future bookings &/or services. A full refund will apply if can provide proof of a positive covid result from the Australian Government. 

If you fail to attend or be available for a Booking you are not entitled to a refund and forfeit all monies paid by you in respect of the Fees (including the Deposit). 

In the unlikely event that I have to cancel for reasons outside my control, I will get in contact with you as soon as possible and find another similar artist (in experience and style) to you along with any relevant notes/photos (if a trial has been done). 

OPENING HOURS

Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist is a freelance business and hours vary week to week depending on bookings. A surcharge of 10% will incur if booking is earlier than 6:30am or later than 6:00pm on any day and will also apply on Sundays.

The following days are an exception:

Good Friday – CLOSED

Easter Sunday – CLOSED 

Christmas Day – CLOSED

New Years Day – CLOSED

 

Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist will inform you via Instagram or Facebook if makeup services are unavailable for any other days or times. 

Please Note: These Public Holidays can be booked if required however a surcharge of $50.00 will incur. 

 

TRAVEL CHARGES

A minimum of two (2) faces applies for any mobile booking.

A freelance travel fee minimum of $20 and subject to location will vary.

Toll charges & Parking fees may also apply. If valet parking is available, this will be charged to your room in accordance to this agreement.

Touch up services (after the ceremony / before photos) can be added with a $100 per hour fee. Alternatively an exclusive wedding day rate can be tailored for your needs.

 

PRICE LIST

Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist has the right to change any price at any time without notice to the customer, unless the customer has placed an order at a stipulated price (then the alteration in price is not applicable).When booking any service with Sarah Rachael Makeup Artist, the customer agrees to these prices.

YOU ARE ALSO PAYING PER PERSON NOT PER HOUR FOR MAKEUP. Once Sarah has completed all makeup applications (based that everyone is on time) she will be moving onto her next booking.
